_{To kick off summer and get this group more interactive, Harvest Moon Freaks would like to announce its first Summer Contest! Here’s what you have to do:

Your entry can be fanfiction or a drawing.

The theme is summer. As a participant you must incorporate this theme with anything relating to Harvest Moon! That means that you can have your Island of Happiness character watering summer crops, your favorite farm animal laying in the shade to escape the hot summer sun, or your favorite Rune Factory girl on the beach enjoying the weather. That’s right you can have as many people in the picture as you want and you can use any game in the Harvest Moon series, including Rune Factory and Innocent Life.

Another aspect to this contest will be a “slogan” contest. As you may know, our group does not have an official slogan yet. Thus, for those who do not wish to participate in the summer aspect of the contest, you can choose to come up with a catchy slogan. The rules and more information will follow below.

Both contests will begin now and will last until the 22 of September, which is the official end of Summer! You can submit your entries until then.

Rules for Summer Contest:

1. You must use the theme of summer in some obvious way. I mean, if there’s snow on the ground, how does that have anything to do with the season?
2. As mentioned above, your entry can be fanfiction or a drawing. Please no in-game photographs or cosplay!
3. You can only submit three pieces in total. That means if you want to enter the slogan contest along with submit a drawing and a fanfiction, you cannot submit anything more!
4. Please mark any mature work accurately.
5. Submit the to Summer Contest folder.

Rules for Slogan Contest:

1. This will go in the tagline place right below our group name.
2. Make sure it’s catchy and original.
3. Do not copy from any other group slogan.
4. You must submit a literary entry that includes the following form. Please write about thee sentences per requirement.
- The slogan
- How you came up with the slogan
- Why you think this slogan would fit the group.
5. Submit to the Slogan Contest folder.
